I am pleased to announce that I have finalised the wedding fairs that I am going to be exhibiting at over the next few months. I hope to see as many of you as possible at one. With so many couples getting engaged over the Christmas and New Year period, the upcoming wedding shows are set to be extremely busy. January and February are traditionally quieter months for me when it comes to events but this is counter balanced by the fact that I am spending lots more time responding to enquiries and quote requests.
Wedding fairs can be a great source of inspiration and they give you the opportunity to meet suppliers face to face and discuss your requirements for your day. If you are still looking for a venue for your big day, they offer the chance to see venues dressed for a wedding. I am exhibiting at 5 different venues over the next few months and have posted details of each below.
Vaulty Manor – 23/1/2022
I will be at Vaulty Manor on Sunday January 23rd 2022. A beautiful 16th century Manor House set in 12 acres of picturesque grounds. If you choose this as your venue you and your wedding party will have exclusive use of the beautiful light oak Essex Barn where you can hold your civil ceremony. After the ceremony you can have your photos taken in the stunning grounds set in the heart of the Essex countryside. You can then move on to the amazing Baronial Hall for your wedding breakfast. Dedicated staff are always on hand to make sure your day runs smoothly. After dancing the night away you can stay in the Bridal suite. There is also accommodation available for around 60 guests.
Brocket hall – 20/2/2022
On Sunday 20th February I will be exhibiting at the fabulous Brocket Hall, a neo-classical country house set in a large park at the western side of the urban area of Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire, England. The estate is equipped with two golf courses and seven smaller listed buildings, apart from the main house. A licensed civil wedding venue set in 543 acres of stunning parkland, it offers a selection of locations to suit the scale of your celebrations and the size of your guest list perfectly. A truly stunning location.
Manor of groves – 13/3/2022
A beautifully restored Georgian Manor House set in 150 acres of beautiful rolling Hertfordshire countryside, Manor Of Groves boasts a wellness centre and an 18 hole Championship Golf Course. The stunning architecture and picturesque grounds provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding with capacity of up to 400 guests. The hotel has two outside gazebos that are licensed for weddings, allowing you to exchange vows al fresco in the manicured grounds. Whether your dream is to have a small, intimate wedding or a large, lavish celebration with all the trimmings, Manor Of Groves have a choice of styles and size of rooms to suit. You’ll find me in the Manor Suite on Sunday 13th March.
Down hall country house hotel – 24/4/2022
With a history dating back to 1322, Down Hall has a wonderful array of rooms and suites to host the most intimate of ceremonies, luxury wedding breakfasts and stunning receptions. Set in 110 acres of surrounding woodland, parkland and landscaped gardens Down Hall is located in Hatfield Heath, near Bishop’s Stortford on the Hertfordshire and Essex border. Each of the 98 rooms are individually designed and this stunning hotel recently refurbished the wedding facilities that now boasts a brand new Master Suite. A dedicated wedding co-ordinator will guide you through the arrangement from the first time you contact them right up to your fairytale wedding. Every detail is taken care of and they come equipped with lists of recommended suppliers – of which I am proud to be one! This hidden gem is one not to be missed.
the swiss garden, Shuttleworth – 22/5/2022
Created in the 1820’s by Lord Ongley. A late Regency style design which sets it apart from any other English country garden. With picturesque views and features it is a wonderful venue for a ceremony in either of its two licensed venues. The Swiss Cottage sits in the centre of the garden with breath-taking views or for those looking for a magical yet intimate venue. The Grotto & Fernery is simply stunning. Beautiful landscaped gardens and manicured lawns are the perfect setting for an intimate wedding.
