Award-Winning Wedding Magician
Creating Unforgettable Moments Your Guests Will Talk About for Years
Your wedding is one of the biggest days of your life.
While you’re having photographs taken, or your guests are waiting between parts of the day, close up magic keeps everyone smiling, laughing and talking. It’s the perfect ice breaker that creates unforgettable memories for guests of every age.
Magic is the Perfect Wedding Entertainment
Close-up magic creates moments your guests will still be talking about long after the wedding is over. Rather than sitting back and watching a performance, your friends and family become part of it. The magic happens in their own hands, creating genuine laughter, surprise and unforgettable reactions that your photographer and videographer will love capturing.
Perfect During The Drinks Reception
Whilst the bride and groom are having photographs taken, the magic keeps guests entertained and gives everyone something to talk about.
Perfect During The Wedding Breakfast
Table by table entertainment between courses keeps every guest engaged throughout the meal.
Perfect As Evening Guests Arrive
Close up magic helps both groups mingle naturally and creates a fantastic atmosphere before the evening celebrations begin.

FAQ's
When should we book?
The sooner, the better. Popular dates, particularly Saturdays during the spring and summer, can be booked well over a year in advance. If you’ve already secured your venue and know you’d like close-up magic as part of your day, I’d recommend getting in touch as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
If your wedding is approaching and you’re not sure whether I’m available, it’s always worth asking. Occasionally I still have dates available at shorter notice.
How long do you perform?
Most couples book me for between one and three hours, depending on where they’d like the magic to fit into their day.
The most popular options are:
- Drinks Reception – Keeping guests entertained while you’re having photographs taken.
- Wedding Breakfast – Performing between courses to keep the atmosphere lively throughout the meal.
- Evening Reception – Entertaining guests as they arrive before the dancing begins.
If you’re unsure which option would work best, I’ll be happy to discuss your plans and recommend the most suitable package for your wedding.
Can you perform outside?
Yes, absolutely. If the weather allows and your venue has outdoor space, I’m more than happy to perform outside during the drinks reception or other parts of your day.
Close-up magic works beautifully in gardens, courtyards and outdoor reception areas. The only requirement is that conditions are suitable, as strong wind or heavy rain can make certain effects difficult to perform. If the weather changes unexpectedly, I’m always happy to move seamlessly indoors.
What happens if timings change?
Wedding days rarely run exactly to schedule, and that’s completely normal. Over the years I’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, so I understand that speeches may overrun, photographs can take longer than expected and plans sometimes change on the day. Whenever possible, I’ll adapt my performance around your schedule and work closely with your venue, wedding coordinator and other suppliers to ensure everything runs smoothly. My aim is to make the entertainment feel like a natural part of your day, whatever happens.
Are you insured?
Yes. I hold full Public Liability Insurance up to £10M, giving you and your venue complete peace of mind. Many wedding venues require entertainers to have Public Liability Insurance, and I’m happy to provide evidence of my cover if requested.
Is the magic suitable for children?
Yes, although my performances are primarily designed for adults. One of the things couples often tell me is that the magic brings all generations together. Children love the visual magic, while adults enjoy the close-up sleight of hand and mind reading, meaning everyone experiences something they’ll remember. I always adapt my performance to suit the audience in front of me, ensuring guests of every age feel involved and entertained.
Where during the wedding do you perform?
Close-up magic is incredibly flexible and can fit naturally into several parts of your wedding day. The most popular time is during the drinks reception, when you’re having photographs taken and guests are waiting to be seated. I can also perform during the wedding breakfast between courses, or during the evening reception as daytime and evening guests come together. If you’re unsure which option is best, I’ll be happy to help you decide based on your plans.
