As a close-up magician, the month of March 2024 has been filled with exciting and memorable events where I had the pleasure of enchanting guests with my magic. Let’s dive into the highlights of my recent performances.
Birthday Parties.
I had the honour of performing at two vibrant birthday parties, where I brought a touch of magic and wonder to the celebrations. The first was a 40th birthday held at their home whilst the second was a 70th held at the wonderful Chequers pub in Matching Green. My close-up magic added an element of surprise and entertainment, leaving guests amazed and creating unforgettable memories for the birthday individuals. I’m delighted that the guests of Michael and Smudger enjoyed the magic.
Mother’s Day lunch.
The elegant setting of The Royal Oak provided the perfect backdrop for a magical Mother’s Day lunch. As guests enjoyed their meal, I roamed the tables, captivating mothers and guests with my enchanting tricks. The magic not only added excitement to the event but also made the day truly special for all attendees. So much so for one family that they immediately booked me to perform at a birthday party later this year.
Trade shows.
I performed at trade shows for Init and Reshape AI, where my magic became a standout attraction, drawing in curious visitors and leaving a lasting impression on potential clients. The interactive and engaging nature of close-up magic served as a unique way to showcase the innovative spirit of these companies, making their booths a must-visit at the events. Both shows were so successful for Init and Reshape AI, they have both booked me for further shows. I also got to perform for former Heavyweight World Champion, Frank Bruno and Who Dares Wins star Billy Billingham.
Weddings.
I had the privilege of enchanting guests at two magical weddings, where I added a touch of mystique and charm to the joyous occasions. My presence at the weddings not only entertained guests during moments of mingling but also created a magical atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience for the newlyweds and their loved ones. Congratulations to Glenn & Katie, who got married at the fabulous Crondon Park and also to Emma and Andrew who got hitched at the idyllic Cooling Castle Barn. I’ve also got two more weddings to do before the end of the month.
Corporate events.
I performed at corporate events for IDC and Hetherington Newman, where my magic became a powerful tool for networking and entertainment. The IDC event was held at the stunning Sopwell House whilst the HN event was a smaller affair held at their wonderful showroom in Holland Park. By seamlessly weaving magic into the corporate environment, I helped foster connections among attendees and provided a refreshing break from the formalities of the events. I’m already booked for further events with IDC and am looking forward to returning to Hetherington Newman in the near future.
Matchday entertainment.
As Saracens Rugby faced off against Harlequins at Tottenham stadium, I had the privilege of entertaining guests in the match day hospitality area. My magic acts served as a delightful prelude to the thrilling rugby match, enhancing the overall match day experience for fans and guests alike. I even got to perform for some of the players after the match and was honoured to meet the charming Owen Farrell.
Testimonial Dinner.
Continuing the rugby them, I was invited to perform at the Testimonial Dinner for former England rugby captain, Courtney Lawes. It was a night to remember, and my magic added an extra layer of excitement to the prestigious event. As guests gathered to honour Courtney’s illustrious career, my magical performances became a talking point, creating a memorable and enchanting evening for all attendees. Held at the Northampton Saints stadium, the event was a huge success and the magic was a massive hit with both Courtney and his guests.
A busy month.
