I’m Andy Jamieson, an award-winning professional close-up magician performing at weddings, corporate events, trade shows and private celebrations across Essex, London and throughout the UK.
Since turning professional, I’ve performed at more than 1,000 events, entertaining everyone from wedding guests and private party-goers to company directors, exhibition visitors and international corporate clients.
For me, great magic isn’t really about fooling people. It’s about bringing people together. Whether I’m breaking the ice at a wedding, helping colleagues relax at a corporate event or starting conversations on an exhibition stand, my aim is always the same: to create moments people remember.

What I Love About What I Love About Performing
What I love most about magic isn’t fooling people. It’s the reactions — the laughter, the disbelief and those moments when someone immediately turns to the person next to them because they can’t quite believe what they’ve just seen.
Those genuine reactions are what make every performance worthwhile. Whether I’m entertaining wedding guests, performing for clients at a corporate event or helping exhibitors attract attention at a trade show, the goal is always the same: to create memorable shared experiences.
Every performance is tailored to the people in front of me. One group might experience impossible card magic in their own hands, while another might see mind reading, borrowed objects vanish or predictions come true. There’s no stage and no script — just interactive magic that fits naturally around the event.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing for major brands, celebrities, professional sportspeople and guests at events throughout the UK. But whether I’m entertaining a small group at a private party or hundreds of guests at a large corporate function, I approach every event with the same enthusiasm and attention to detail.
Away From the Magic
Away from performing, I’m a husband, dad, football supporter and keen photographer. Photography gives me the chance to slow down, spend time outdoors and notice the details that are easy to miss.
I particularly enjoy wildlife, landscape and astrophotography. In some ways, photography and magic have quite a lot in common — both are about creating or capturing moments that make people stop, look and appreciate something extraordinary.
One of the things I enjoy most about being a magician is meeting people from all walks of life. Every wedding has its own story, every company has its own culture and every audience is different. That variety is one of the reasons I still look forward to performing as much as I did when I first started.
I believe great entertainment should do more than simply fill time. It should break the ice, bring people together, create conversations and leave guests with memories they’ll still be talking about long afterwards.
